overview of the day - PMS filled day made beautiful by endulging in a wonderful, big bowl of Fish head beehoon at alexandra. just look out for old uncles and aunties with dark green top. damn the beehoon was DAMN GOOD SIA. its opposite the AIA building. their soup is DA BEST! but remember your mint - gotta remove the fishy aftertaste.
took a walk to ikea for a short walk to digest my beehoon, only intending to buy mint from the Indian man. but it seems like ikea decided to rent the whole building so no more florist shop, no more indian newspaper stand and no more burger king. no indian man = no mint = bad fishy after taste. urgh.
walking in the ikea that's still undergoing renovation is damn weird. lol. anyway i always have this wish to have my own room plus get a make over for room. and while walking around ikea - i came up with the concept for my house. there are three situations underwhich my plan will come truth
1. my parents buy a new house so each of us have a new room.all three options don't seem possible in the next 10 years. shiat.
2. i get married so i move in with my darling.. hopefully the mother-in-law stays with the older son or something.
3. i am still single, over 35 and wealthy enough to own a flat in singapore. hur hur.
ok. drumroll, please. For my concept flat's theme---->Red/White/Black series

this room sparked the entire series concept for me. =D my brother loves this room very much too! the design inte room used to be darker though. lol. but i am not complaining. i still love it! they have a mini bartop too! how cute!

design for my parent's room is not included because i am very sure they wouldn't want me bossing what they should put into their room.
Red/White/Black series: My Bedroom
i have a thing for white bedsheets. plus they have a BIG wardrobe and a spacious desk. the whole set of shelves even has sections where girls can put their essentials like toner, lip gloss etc. hidden by the wardrobe is a almost full length mirror.
same bedroom but from a different view. this bedroom is one of my feasible dream bedroom lah! i love the audrey hepburn picture too! this room screams: OWN ME!
Bedroom #2 - my sister's
very girly but still very nice though it's too plain for my own liking. everything is white, plus it doesn't come with a writing desk. i feel weird without a desk in the bedroom - cuz it means no computer access. damn - i am now a computer addict. i will die without the computer.
this will probably be the design of my sister's room. but i am sure the walls will probably have graffited upon and the bedsheets - green or something.
Bedroom # 3 - my brother's
a more masculine room. change the faggot purple background to navy blue and this could be my brother's room! unisex room.
these flowers would match the first bedroom very nicely~! wah!! if only i were really going to buy a house myself and get to decorate it!!
lights - they will look very out of place or they could fit into my sister's room somehow. but don't you think they are funky!? lol. i wonder if anyone actually still uses this word..
photoframe - $35i seriously love this photoframe even if it's so big and out of place. the only place that matches anything in my Red/White/Black series is in the Living Room. *pouts*
ah ha! i can turn it into a mirror! then put it next to the door so everyday you can check your reflection before you go out! muahaha my ingenious idea. lol. if only it could come true..
btw, the chandliers one the right are damn big. it's about 5, 6 times bigger than the bluish one seen in the first lights' picture. siao. how do you fit it into a singapore HDB flat? i but they are going to bring in more kickass furniture and other housey-related stuff. lol.
you know - i was really disoriented walking in ikea. but i was walking inside for 20 minutes and i couldn't locate the resturant. they left it out of the direction signals. sigh~
MOST IMPORTANTLY NO IKEA CHICKEN WINGS, COFFEE AND CAKES TILL 23RD MAY! sobz. oh well i am still having exams so. i can still eat their sausage and ice-cream.wah. photobucket is damn shiok now. cuz changed their programmes AGAIN - but now can select mutliple images to upload in one shot! and you don't even need to slowing browse for each one. just CTRL & SELECT!
seriously - improvement in technology really saves alot of time! =) lol. i hope the same goes for our environmental issues. lol.
