its been a long time since i updated.
i am damn lazy these days. and this laziness meant that it was a lazy chinese new year for me. practically lazed around the house during the CNY hols.. CNY being the most busy time of the year.. i think the long long holiday is for use to recuperate. lol.

but at least i went river ang bao and also bai nian-ing at my friend's place. but it seems that this is a bad year in general. the prediction that we read at river angbao for people born in the year of the tiger was BAD. i think the tiger people have been very down on our luck for a couple of years now. and this year is no exception:

wealth: your sources of income will come to nothing
love: the light at the end of the tunnel is dim..
health: best if you go for a health check up
career: not advisable for career change.

i didn't bother to remember too much because it was 30 lines of unfavorable predictions. *moans* so when i went out to my friend's place to gamble on chu san, i lost abt $13? so its a sign to tell me to serious consider seeking a finance manager. lol...

tsk tsk tsk.. chu san was good. going out for a fabulous meal and meeting up with friends. when dim-suming at red star and the queue was long as usual. and then we had roasted meat too~! SUPER GOOD LAH... and i finally got a taste of my first roasted pigeon. erm.. i don't really like it leh. i still prefer chicken.

but mahjong was good nonetheless - just that playing with 3 other people who are equally down on their luck is quite funny. because there were several rounds when all four of us were in pure agony, waiting to finish till the last 7 rows. lol.

this was probably my biggest win that night.

lost the rest of the money in 'in between' though.

contrary to our yearly tradition - i didn't go for sentosa's flower festival this year cuz mommy didn't feel like going. oh well. more photos when i upload them onto photobucket. still gotta wait for more photos and rename them..

sigh. its going to be a tiring week. two birthday parties back to back. yesterday i spent less than 5 hrs in town and that whirlwind trip around town ended up with me splurging $300 on presents?!? sigh...... my ang bao money is officially used up. *moans* and i was so happy the other day when i finally see my bank account cross the $500 mark.

anyway gotta wish everyone a happy valentine's day!
and happy valentine's day to me too! because i will be stuck in SIM from 8.30 am to 10pm. damnthe bloodie lecturer for slotting a make-up class on valentine's day night. zzzz.
