birthdy with the girls

wah. this is entry is super-overdued. but i have to blog about it becase it is so rare that the 4 of us even meet up. i mean the 4 of us have totally different lifestyle pace. and alicia is totally the career woman - super busy. lol.

haha the initial plan was to meet kuanie to collect the concert tickets from sistic, then have dinner. but then the nice girls decided that since my birthday was just a few days ago - they decided to give me a little surprise. anyway it wsa a joint celebration for weiqi and i. we both turned 22 not long ago. sigh. feeling damn old sia.

they made reservations at swensens and i think also got them to prepare us an ice-cream cake. actually i feel damn bad since i last minute decided to change the venue after EVERYONE told me how the food (pasta/rice) sucked. it was a 10 out of 10 thumbs down. but seriously i would rather spend the same amount of money on better tasting food right?

the super huge ice-cream cake from swensens. strawberry and blueberry yougurt flavour? we forgot to share it with the people at fish and co. lol. by the time we realised - it as too late. we were eating with our fork and it wasn't nice to serve others the cake after we started eating from it. sigh..

in the end we has to stuff ourselves with the cake. if we had know better - i wouldn't have had dinner. the eating one third of the cake was enough for dinner.. imagine 3 girls finishing a cake 15+cm in diameter! alicia hardly ate because she need to keep her weight off for a photo shot that week. zzz. i am not going to touch ice cream/cake for a long time.

by the time we reached this stage - all of us were nausaous, queasy and super duper full. we kinda started playing with the cream. lol. thank god it wasn't chocolate cake - if not i would have died before finishing the cake. but it was great fun talking wth the girls lah. sigh. everyone is going to be even busier when they start working. tsk tsk tsk.

guess what - we ddn't get the tickets because we forgot about the ticket collection. soon after the ice cream ckae made its appearance. dang.. oh well. i guess i have to go down again sometime soon.
