Forbidden Kingdom - wait for me!!

WOOHOO~! I CAN'T WAIT TO WATCH THE FORBIDDEN KINGDOM! JET LI!! i don't really give a damn about jackie but Jet Li~!

hopefully i get to watch it before they stop screening it. the double 'J' factor should be able to let this movie on the big screen for sometime. i already missed the jap film - sky of love. i have already chopped peigeok to watch it with me after her exams. but my exams wouldn't have started till 16th May! freedom is so far away~!!!

but i am glad Jet is getting better roles these days. the Warlord was good!! woohoo~! hopefully 'The Forbidden Kingdom' will be good too but it is a american film nonetheless, so i am going to lower my expectations and keep my fingers crossed. you need chinese man to film good chinese films. i happened to skim through some reviews on the movie. not gd? Wizard of Oz remake? *sigh* i will make sure to watch it on a weekday. $10 on weekends will break my heart if the movie sucked.

come to think about it, Jet's first hollywood movies - 'The One' and 'Romeo must die' both received lukewarm response and loads of bad reviews. i didn't bother watching both film and having Jet Li portrayed as evil guy is just WRONG. its almost like a slapping every china man in the face. c'mon - that man is synonymous with chinese hero Wong Fei Hong. probably half of the chinese population on earth have watched his films before. chinese hero as the bad guy is just wrong.

hopeully some director in some part of the world is making a decent war film because, i have a craving for some intense action. And i have yet to go CD shopping. sigh.. i need retail therapy again. i am already on the verge of cutting my hair.. where is my book on stress management...
