OMFG! I KNOW I SOUND VERY AUNTIE-ISH..

HOW COME RICE PRICES CAN RISE SO FAST!?
seriously? i went NTUC Fairprice with mom just now for stocking up of groceries. and we looked at the rice prices. over a span of 1 month - rice prices of the brand we eat rose by SGD$6 for a pack of 10kg rice. knn!!

before the whole rice shortage incident - rice costs $13.80 then later one month later it was $20.30. now its a f***ing $26.30. so it almost 100% increase leh!! siao! seasme oil is up by $2 a bottle. and mom wanted to buy oyster sauce but they dun have it on the shelves so i suspect they are holding stock till they decide on how much they are going to up the prices. *faints*

maybe when i am 30 years old, cost of a pack of 10kg rice will cost $50!! by that time i would have decided to turn myself into a cow that eats only greens. i don't think i can afford rice.. or maybe i should turn myself into some Indian mediating guru. i have seen a documentry where this boy's body can sustain itself for 2 years with just air. seriously. i think that would be nice..  

anyway i decided! Red Star Dimsum Resturant will probably be very, very packed. last year was madness. people queuing even before the the doors are opened. so this year, Mother's day dinner will be at Vivo City's sushi tei! =D i know they don't do reservations.. so everyone - please don't fight with me for tables. hur hur hur..
