International BBQ

wah! super long never update. been busy with christmas and looking at christmas sales. damn - i am poor again. and all the festive binge. arh.... anyway i was invited to a BBQ at west coast park with yukiko's classmates on one fine day.

everyone in! group photo!!

it was a very different experience since it was like an international meeting. hmm there were Japanese, Koreans, Americans, British, Chinese, Indonesians and singaporeans. how cool is that.

actually - ok only lah. i was expecting it to be super happening but i seems that most of them were older adults so they were all really rational people. totally not active. no balls to play, no funny jokes. they kept playing this game called - sharades?! i have no idea how to spell it but basically you are not allowed to talk and using body language - you have to express what you want others to guess. yesh i love guessing but i totally hate coming out to express using body language.

the only ones our age were these korean sisters. she is the younger one and seriously - she is damn cute lah. i have her number - you want?

her sister is more sassy. but both are pretty and skin is good. lol! i look like i am trying to advertise them!! but seriously ALL THE GIRLS in this photo are wonderful females lah. should meet up with them again before they all fly elsewhere. then next time if i wanna go korean, i have her!

OH! and i got to eat the most delicious KIMCHI and YAKISOBA ever! i have eaten horrible kimchi so its a no no. and the kimchi they brought was really, really nice! anyone wants me to introduce? one of the japanese dudes was cooking the yaki soba. NICE! i ate a big bowl.

we had mussels (cooked in white wine), spare ribs, wings, german sauages, sotong and lots of other stuff. first time i have had such wonderful food at BBQ. what do we singaporeans eat? franks, fishballs, wings, otah and crab sticks. aiyo so un-atas man.

i totally stand out in this photo when everyone else is wearing grey. and i have no idea what came over me when i did that pose. by the way - me and my friend both agree that the guy in this photo has most of the characteristics that we want in our future husbands. and so - he is already happily married. DAMN.

the men - guess whose japanese? can't really tell right?! the two at the corners! the guy on the right is damn zhai ok. he speaks chinese, japanese and english FLUENTLY. plus he is only 25. totally single and available. i initially thought he was indonesian cuz he was talking to some indo. aiya - damn wasted. he is now somewhere in indonesia working. damn..

All with happy smiles! hahahha cute people. hope to meet them again soon. and i realised i forgot to wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
